Is it weird to watch scary movies after Halloween? I personally believe that it is not but others of course will have other opinions. Now in scary movies I mean the classics by actors long gone and still around. Most of the new horror movies are just slash and gore with little to no actual suspense or punch. Scream was classically done but it was Wes Craven one of the pioneers of the 80's horror genre so its a given.
Rob Zombie can do both genres of horror and gore quite well but I want to see him try older style suspense type horror. I understand and maybe someone can correct me that Rob Zombie is working with John Carpenter to make Halloween 3. If this is true then this movie will probably be one of the best horror movies ever created in a long time.
Oh and one last thing Saw doesn't count - it's crap
