SBX Steam Box - The Only Steam Box

Below is a teaser video for ibuypower.com’s Steam Box but before that here is a little history on Steam Box.

Valve a PC / console game developer created an all-inclusive gaming service with friend lists and chat as well as game purchasing built in. There are no discs like current game consoles use so it is strictly a download service. This service is called Steam. Just recently, Valve created Steam OS, which is a free operating system that will run Steam completely independent of any other operating system. This free operating system was built on special Linux build, which means it is fast, efficient, and quite secure. With Steam OS, you can install this on any empty computer hard disk drive and run it directly allowing for better game play than through say Windows or Apple’s OS. Besides the ability to make your own Steam system Valve hooked up with several hardware makers to create Steam Boxes that are pretty much a normal computer but in a nice “purty box”. There are many variations of Steam Boxes but there should be one system above all and believe that Valve should connect with ibuypower.com and make it the Official Steam Box, which will reduce confusion, as there will be at least 18 different Steam Boxes.

Ibuypowers SBX Steam Box, which has a color band around the center of the system, which you can modify using an application on your android or iOS phone – Here is a Dubstep full teaser trailer for the SBX.

Apple iPhone 5 - Thoughts

Apple: Damn, we ran out of ideas. What do we do with the next round of iPhones?

I know! Let us label it 5 and make two versions the 5c and 5s. One being just as expensive as the other but let’s label it cheap, make it out of plastic, give it away for $100 on contract (really it’s a hundred dollars cheaper than the 5s coming in around $450), and copy Microsoft with their phone colors.

For the more expensive one let’s throw in a 64-bit chip in it which no one will use for at least 9 years because there will be no software using it and by then we will have a new POS product to throw out to the idiot consumers.

Monoprice 8320 Earbud Review

After reading a couple pages on the net, I jumped over to monoprice.com and bought me the 8320 earbuds for 12 bucks or so total with overnight shipping (your total will probably be different). All I can say is Holy Hell Wow for the price these are the best earphones I have used in a long, long time. The highs, mids, and lows of these suckers are amazing and no matter what music you throw at em they comeback with amazing results. They are also are incredibly loud with all music so make sure to account for that otherwise you will be deaf, I guarantee it!

I have not done this yet (and will probably do so) but many sites and reviews state you may have to purchase some additional replacement earbud tips to make them fit and work a bit better. The stock tips are actually quite huge but they do fit my ears yet after listening awhile they start to hurt. When taking them out after much listening it feels like you just pulled a stick or a ball out of your ears.
The build quality of these earbuds is top notch. The jack connector is pretty solid and reinforced as well as the wires to the earbuds themselves.
One thing I instantly noticed is if you move around quite a bit you will hear the sound of the cord rustling. Another strange thing about these earbuds is you put them in to the ear upside down compared to many other earbuds and one thing I dislike more and more is the wires hang down from the  tops of the earbuds it is such a strange design for the wiring.

As for the length of the wire it is an average length 48 inches like many earphones though I wish it were about length of 50 to 60 inches, as I like to work out listening to Slacker Radio on my phone and these seem to be to short or pull out of the ears at awkward moments of exercise.

Beyond the quirks I have had with these earbuds the sound quality makes you want to ignore any minor issues with them and for such a crazy low price they are, at least to me, it is a steal of a deal. You can get your own set by hopping on over to Monoprice.com.
