Valve a PC / console game developer created an all-inclusive gaming service with friend lists and chat as well as game purchasing built in. There are no discs like current game consoles use so it is strictly a download service. This service is called Steam. Just recently, Valve created Steam OS, which is a free operating system that will run Steam completely independent of any other operating system. This free operating system was built on special Linux build, which means it is fast, efficient, and quite secure. With Steam OS, you can install this on any empty computer hard disk drive and run it directly allowing for better game play than through say Windows or Apple’s OS. Besides the ability to make your own Steam system Valve hooked up with several hardware makers to create Steam Boxes that are pretty much a normal computer but in a nice “purty box”. There are many variations of Steam Boxes but there should be one system above all and believe that Valve should connect with ibuypower.com and make it the Official Steam Box, which will reduce confusion, as there will be at least 18 different Steam Boxes.
